wxWidget can be used directly on top of the X server, in this case the variant of the wxWidget library is called wxX11. For most Linux users, this is maybe the only dependency not already installed. I don't know how to do that, i don't know what the codeIgniter is or how to get to it. I googled it, i found some things saying that i should fix the line 189 in codeIgniter. I went to install the gnu c++ compiler (g++) at community page of mint, at the programming section, but when i click on it, a window with message error appears saying: Sudo apt-get install g++ build-essentialsĮ: Unable to locate package build-essentials I'm trying to intall g++ from the terminal. So i'm guessing i need the g++ compliler. So, i installed the codeblocks, but it does not build. Along with the IDE, this will download the MinGW C/C++ compiler which is a kind of port of GCC for Windows. Since in this part of the forum, needless to say i'm completely new to linux mint, also not very familiar with coding either.
